WarnerMedia is seeking a Finance Manager te become part of the Content Finance Team.
The Finance Manager will partner with other areas of WM, like, Accounting, Legal, Acquisitions, Programming, Original Productions and others internal areas to support various reporting and the financial content strategy needs for GE, kids, HBO and HBOmax, the Manager will lead a team of 4, 2 Sr Financial Analyst and 2 Financial Analyst. The Manager will be responsible for the Annual Budget and Monthly Forecast and will be responsible for explain any variances. Also, will responsible to matin the integrity of the information in the data repository and the accurate information. The Manager will report to the VP head of content for WM lati America
What will you be doing?
Responsible for leading the group that will updating the monthly forecast for the Latin America WM content as well as the creation of monthly reports for Actuals, Budget and Forecast
Responsible to lead and supervise the group that maintain the data repository.
Analyze actual vs forecast results and identify and explain variances.
Monitor financial performance of accounts and create key performance indicator reports. And review the information with the stakeholders.
You will also make a significant contribution to the company’s annual budget leading process and supervise the group responsible for creating the annual budget by applying analytical tools and business acumen.
Prepare budget reports and presentations, support finance and other teams throughout the budget process.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and process improvement projects – must be able to jump in and support team needs.
Analysis of film acquisitions and amortization projections for multiple business plans.
Provide reporting support to Senior Finance management as needed.
Effectively engage and maintain relationship with different business partners within the organization.
What do we require from you?
Position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
3 years of experience in a Manager position with direct reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary. English language proficiency is required
Advance skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required; proficiency in Hyperion Planning products and PeopleSoft Financials is a plus.
Good understanding of GAAP principles
Great analytical Skills.
Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
